Evaluations can be useful in many situations. If individuals are: *underachieving *confused or unable to tell what is happening to them *oppositional *not responding or responding atypically to medical or psychological treatment *in distress or causing distress for others, and it is not clear why *experiencing complex,co-occurring medical and emotional problems *at risk for hospitalization, loss of job, loss of school status, loss of relationship Psychological/neuropsychological evaluation provides a map or x-ray
of how information is being processed in the brain. We can see where
information is getting through and where it is getting stuck. From patterns
in this x-ray, we can tell what is causing the difficulty. We can determine
what may be helpful in solving problems and restoring a higher level
of functioning. Child/Teen Evaluations Prof/Clinical Info For further information, or to schedule an evaluation, please call Dr. Elizabeth H. Fisher |
